This map is a reduction derived from Robert de Vaugondy's map of 1755. While we do not have the 1755 state of that map, you can see the 1778 version. They are virtually identical. Little else is known about this map. All of the established cartobibliographic sources indicate the engraver as anonymous and the source as unknown.
